Let the raging begin...

So we decided to make this blog so anyone that wants to can follow along with us as we travel through Europe for the next month. Like we said, we made absolutely no travel plans before we left, and decided that we just wanted to see where the wind takes us.

The day before we left Carla contacted her Uncle and asked if he could pick us up from the airport and if we could stay the night. Reluctantly, he agreed, explaining that he doesn't usually "do early" but he would make an exception this one time. How lovely. But it all worked out and he picked us up from Dublin Airport around 8am on Thursday morning. We had a nice little drive out to the countryside where he and his wife (Carla's Aunt) live- Kristina-they have 3 pones- and it smells like cow shit because the neighbor decided that the day before we arrived was the perfect day to spread cow manure over his entire property.

Carla didn't sleep on the plane because she was sitting between a jazz playing teenage boy and a sleeping Katie, so she just watched movies the whole time, besides the awkward moments when she had to straddle the jazz player to go to the bathroom, thinking he was asleep when really he was awake HA. Carla wore her UMD shirt on the plane and ironically Katie ended up sitting next to some girl who had just graduated from UMD but she was pretty annoying and basically a big loser. Geez we are really nice haha. So we got here and had some breakfast and took a nap and now we have been trying to make SOME sort of plan for the next 5 weeks...

SO this brings us to our first official leg of the journey-- we are flying from Belfast to Paris on Saturday. Where we are staying in Paris we do not know...hint..if anyone knows anyone in Paris let us know asap...and will probably stay there for a few days before continuing on to Spain or Southern France.

We'll write later...we are trying to figure out a way to get outta the country and into Dublin so we can drink...lets be honest its been almost 24 hours since we drank in the airport and we are ready to get this party started.
